If Things Go Wrong
If you have problems with submitting your Return online, we're here to help. If your Returns are being rejected because of
formatting problems ("Rejected"), you should check the error list for the Return, and look carefully in your CSV file at the
lines indicated on the error list. You should be able to reduce the number of errors until finally there are none at all. If
this doesn't happen and there are still errors, get in touch, and we'll help.
If your Returns are being rejected because our business processes have found a problem ("Rejected"), you should be able to use
the same approach, and if the errors remain, get in touch.
If your Returns are being rejected because of a problem with our backend data servers ("Failed"), sometimes it can be worth
waiting for a few moments and then trying the upload again. If the message appears repeatedly, get in touch.
If you are using the system and you see the message "An Error has Occurred" this generally means that there is an unexpected
problem with the service. It's worth waiting a while and trying again, and if the problems persist, get in touch so that we can
provide you with the latest information about the service availability.
